About Rhodes
The island of Rhodes has perfect tourist infrastructure, famous since ancient years with the history of the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Miracles of the World. The old city of Rhodes also has one of the best maintained medieval cities in Europe, which, in 1988, was classified as a monument of the UNESCO World Heritage. Lindos is a cosmopolitan traditional village, built on the foothills of the acropolis of Ancient Lindos, with a great view to the Aegean Sea and its historical sightseeing. Visitors have the chance to walk on the picturesque alleys, and feel the magical aura of the village. It is famous for its wonderful beaches, as well as for the weddings that take place every year, at the chapel of Agios Pavlos.
